Accountability and scope
Identify the contracting entity, delivery responsibilities, project owners and escalation contacts. Put deliverables, assumptions and exclusions in writing.
Technology procurement needs more than a list of capabilities. It needs clear responsibilities, a reviewable scope and evidence appropriate to the work.
These are engagement planning principles. The proposal and signed agreement establish the commitments for your project.
Identify the contracting entity, delivery responsibilities, project owners and escalation contacts. Put deliverables, assumptions and exclusions in writing.
Agree environments, access approval, data categories and permitted use. Use least-privilege access and avoid moving production data into development without a justified, approved approach.
Identify required controls, testing boundaries and evidence early. Discuss vulnerability remediation, secrets handling and third-party dependencies as part of the scope.
Define what constitutes acceptance, who approves it and what evidence they need. Match functional, performance and security testing to the system and its risks.
Agree how scope changes are assessed and authorised. Prepare release, migration and rollback steps before making material production changes.
Specify source-code and intellectual-property terms, hosting responsibilities, documentation, training and ongoing support in the agreement.
Send your procurement requirements, security questionnaire and any mandatory eligibility conditions before commissioning work. We will clarify what can be provided and identify any scope or qualification gaps.
Where a service requires a particular licence, accreditation or regulated-sector approval, eligibility must be verified for the contracting and delivery arrangement before the engagement proceeds. This website is not evidence of such approval.
