How Soft Task handles information provided through its Singapore website and enquiry channels.
Who we are
This notice applies to the Singapore website operated by Soft Task Singapore Pte. Ltd., 20 Woodlands Link, #04-33, Singapore 738733. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@softtask.co.
Information and purposes
If you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, work email, company and project description. We use it to respond, assess requirements, manage the enquiry and maintain relevant business records. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or confidential business records through an initial website enquiry.
Website operation and providers
Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details and security signals to serve and protect the website. The contact and newsletter forms use the shared SoftTask.co service. Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions, Resend delivers notifications and confirmations, and the shared newsletter system stores subscription records. These providers may process information outside Singapore. Service-provider and transfer arrangements must support the applicable data protection requirements.
Website measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website use. Cookieless measurement is the default; analytics cookies require a separate choice. You can turn measurement off using Cookie settings. Limited page and consent signals may be sent to Google without analytics cookies. Advertising features are disabled. Enquiry choice
The form requests permission to use your details to respond to the enquiry. It does not subscribe you to marketing. You may instead email office@softtask.sg. You can contact the privacy address about withdrawal of consent; this may affect our ability to respond or provide the requested service.
Newsletter updates
A newsletter subscription is separate from a project enquiry. We use your email, selected topic, confirmation status and relevant timestamps to send requested updates and manage your preferences. Your email must be confirmed before the subscription becomes active. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours; an unsubscribe route is included in newsletter emails. The shared service is operated through SoftTask.co.
Retention
Our retention schedule provides for unsuccessful enquiries to be retained for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, and unsuccessful recruitment records for up to 6 months, unless a longer period is required for a lawful purpose. Contractual, accounting, security and dispute-related records may follow other applicable retention requirements.
Access, correction and questions
Contact privacy@softtask.co to request access to or correction of personal data, raise a privacy concern or ask about this notice. We may need to verify identity and clarify the request. Applicable exceptions and legal requirements may affect how a request is handled.
Changes
We may update this notice as the website and processing arrangements change. The revision date identifies the current published version.
